Space Channel 5 (1999 – DC, PS2); Space Channel 5: Part 2 (2002 – DC, PS2); Space Channel 5: Ulala’s Cosmic Attack (2003 – GBA)
Ace reporter Ulala is despatched to report on (and ultimately save) the galaxy from the Morolians – an alien race controlling humans with dance. This incredibly bubblegum raygun-themed game is a cult classic, with a variety of electronic soundtracks, fun character designs and daft beam weaponry.

TimeSplitters 2 (2002 – GC, PS2, XB)
The TimeSplitters series follows a fairly simple sci-fi plot, as agents from the future must adopt disguises and set certain events right throughout time while battling the deadly timesplitters. The second game in the series features a Planet X level with rayguns, green aliens and flying saucers galore.
